it's time for Beige to take the lead!
We really think that Beige can be both Formal as well as Urban in terms of clothing.
It is one of the shades that is really close to our hearts and we couldn't be happier that it also made it to the cut for 2021 Fall's "Must Wear Shades and Tones" according to Vogue Magazine.
The word "Beige" has its origins in vintage French and it was first used somewhere in the middle of the 19th century, and it was the name given to the colour of wool.
This pastel warm tone can have variations of tan, ivory, fawn, off-white, cream and sand dune, shades that are very much contemporary as well as their base tone - Beige.
In terms of meaning, I suppose that whenever we whisper or at least think of "Beige", one's mind could wander all the way down to the famous sand dunes, which I suppose would might as well be The "Beigest" Place in the World, right?
That being said, this pastel tone would place itself in the warmer area of tones, Beige being considered the colour of harmony, soothing as well as calming, while its core is linked to luxurious and elegant notes.
It is a mixture between Brown shades and crips White, the halfway of particles that combine both the warmer side of the Brown shade while keeping it balanced with the cold and crips tones of white.
Some might consider Beige as being a dull and boring shade, while others would add more meaningful connotations to this simple yet classic shade.
A cool fact to know about Beige is that a group of astronomers from the John Hopkins University considered Beige as the average colour of Universe.
