DESIGNER'S NOTE
Some shirts just cover you. This one presents you.
Cut from 160 gsm French linen — flax grown in France, woven in Spain — lightweight, breathable, and honest in the way that only natural fabric can be. The kind of shirt that doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is, and is better for it.
In bordeaux, the Bârsana stops being understated and starts being a decision. A deep, wine-dark red that belongs to no particular season and no particular occasion — it works at a terrace lunch as well as it does at a dinner that runs late. The colour that makes neutral linen look like it was always waiting for this.
Every collar is hand-finished entirely by Mrs. Dana — our in-house collar specialist, a woman who treats a collar the way a poet treats a first line. Every pattern piece is cut individually by Mrs. Elena before a single stitch is placed. Every button is sewn by hand by Mrs. Mihaela — because a button that comes off after two washes is not a button, it's a disappointment. This is not a production line. It is closer to a ritual.
Button it to the last button at the office. Open three at the terrace. Throw a blazer over it and call it a meeting. Take the blazer off and call it a party. The shirt doesn't ask. It fits the office, the terrace, the party — and doesn't tell anyone it was at all three.
