DESIGNER'S NOTE
Some clothes you buy. Some clothes choose you.
The Bucegi set, in Charcoal Grey Check, is the second kind.
The "Palazzo" trousers and the "Crisana" waistcoat are cut from an extra-fine wool, in a quiet Grey Check pattern, a fabric originally developed for menswear, where structure and refinement matter more than almost anything else. We brought it over, cut it for a woman's silhouette, and found out what tailors have known for a long time: good wool doesn't need a gender to work.
It's softer than you'd expect from something this structured, holds its shape without being asked, and has already proven itself in our showroom, with the women who tried it on and didn't want to take it off.
The waistcoat closes on a double-breasted front with coconut buttons and a structured collar. The trousers follow with a wide, fluid leg, a high waist, and a line that reads formal from a distance and relaxed up close.
You put the set on and something shifts.
Not dramatically.
Quietly.
Just enough.
Every stitch is done by hand in our own atelier in Transylvania. Both pieces are also available separately, in a full range of sizes. For those who want the set cut to their own measurements, Made-to-Measure is available.
You don't wear the Bucegi set to be noticed. You wear it to make sure no one forgets you were there.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Dry clean only
- Do not machine wash
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Steam or iron on low heat, inside-out
Both the "Palazzo" trousers and the "Crisana" waistcoat are wool and should be dry cleaned only. Machine washing wool risks shrinking, felting, and loss of shape, especially around the stripe weave.
