The Palazzo is cut from 160 gsm French linen — flax grown in France, woven and finished in Spain. Lightweight, breathable and honest in the way that only natural fabric can be — with a natural slub texture that catches the light differently as you move. High waist, wide leg, full length, two side pockets, back zip closure. The kind of trousers that move with you all day and still look considered at the end of it.
In rose and golden stripes, the Palazzo is the most joyful in the range — and the most finite. This fabric was woven by PRODIN SA, a Bucharest factory that no longer exists. The same factory that produced the Antonel kitchen towels and the White & Lime Green Stripe Palazzo. Before it closed, we secured enough for exactly 60 pairs. The fabric is lighter than the Lime version — closer in weight to our French linen — with wide rose and golden stripes that catch the light and move beautifully with the wide-leg silhouette. When they're gone, they're gone. Not a marketing line. A fact.
Every pattern piece is cut individually by Mrs. Elena. Mrs. Dana and Mrs. Corina do the sewing. Every finishing detail is handled by Mrs. Mihaela. Mrs. Ana inspects and packs every single piece before it ships. Quality control, some call it. We call it Mrs. Ana.
This is not a production line. It is closer to a ritual.
We are De IONESCU — a small fashion house from Romania with our own atelier in Transylvania. Every piece is cut, sewn, and finished by hand. No outsourcing. No mass production. Just the ladies in our workshop, humming along to Europa FM while discussing recipes and their kids' summer holidays. Made in Europe. Properly.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Machine wash at 30°C, low spin speed
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Iron inside-out using a steamer preferably
