The Palazzo is cut from 160 gsm French linen — flax grown in France, woven and finished in Spain. Lightweight, breathable and honest in the way that only natural fabric can be — with a natural slub texture that catches the light differently as you move. High waist, wide leg, full length, two side pockets, back zip closure. The kind of trousers that move with you all day and still look considered at the end of it.
In dusty blue, the Palazzo is calm and quietly considered — a soft, muted blue that sits between sky and slate, belonging to neither. The colour that makes everything around it look more deliberate. It pairs naturally with warm neutrals, white linen and anything that doesn't try too hard either. The kind of blue that makes people look twice and immediately want it.
Every pattern piece is cut individually by Mrs. Elena. Mrs. Dana and Mrs. Corina do the sewing. Every finishing detail is handled by Mrs. Mihaela. Mrs. Ana inspects and packs every single piece before it ships. Quality control, some call it. We call it Mrs. Ana.
This is not a production line. It is closer to a ritual.
We are De IONESCU — a small fashion house from Romania with our own atelier in Transylvania. Every piece is cut, sewn, and finished by hand. No outsourcing. No mass production. Just the ladies in our workshop, humming along to Europa FM while discussing recipes and their kids' summer holidays. Made in Europe. Properly.
