The Palazzo is cut from 160 gsm French linen — flax grown in France, woven and finished in Spain. Lightweight, breathable and honest in the way that only natural fabric can be — with a natural slub texture that catches the light differently as you move. High waist, wide leg, full length, two side pockets, back zip closure. The kind of trousers that move with you all day and still look considered at the end of it.
In aqua, the Palazzo is fresh, light and immediately summery — a clear blue-green that sits between sky and sea without belonging to either. The colour that makes people look twice and then immediately want it. The linen gives aqua a softness and warmth that synthetic fabric never achieves. Wear it with white or natural linen and nothing else is needed.
Every pattern piece is cut individually by Mrs. Elena. Mrs. Dana and Mrs. Corina do the sewing. Every finishing detail is handled by Mrs. Mihaela. Mrs. Ana inspects and packs every single piece before it ships. Quality control, some call it. We call it Mrs. Ana.
This is not a production line. It is closer to a ritual.
We are De IONESCU — a small fashion house from Romania with our own atelier in Transylvania. Every piece is cut, sewn, and finished by hand. No outsourcing. No mass production. Just the ladies in our workshop, humming along to Europa FM while discussing recipes and their kids' summer holidays. Made in Europe. Properly.
