Cut from 160 gsm French linen — flax grown in France, woven in Spain — lightweight, breathable, and honest in the way that only natural fabric can be. The kind of shirt that doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is, and is better for it.
In beige, the Bârsana is warm and completely at ease — the colour of the fabric at its most natural, unhurried and unforced. It works with everything in your wardrobe and manages to look intentional every time. The piece you reach for when you want to look good without thinking about it.
Every collar is hand-finished entirely by Mrs. Dana — our in-house collar specialist, a woman who treats a collar the way a poet treats a first line. Every pattern piece is cut individually by Mrs. Elena before a single stitch is placed. Every button is sewn by hand by Mrs. Mihaela — because a button that comes off after two washes is not a button, it's a disappointment. This is not a production line. It is closer to a ritual.
Button it to the last button at the office. Open three at the terrace. Throw a blazer over it and call it a meeting. Take the blazer off and call it a party. The shirt doesn't care — it holds its shape either way, which is more than can be said for most things.
